On November’s Friday 13th, Irish Composers Collective seizes the grandest Georgian mansion on Merrion Square for an evening of interdisciplinary sound installations and premiere performances of new Irish compositional work.
Opening the evening, seven composers occupy every room of No. 45 Merrion Square, the Irish Architectural Archive, with installations of music, film, dance, spoken word and visuals. Following this, we raise a glass to superstition with a wine and food reception before the final act.
Kirkos Ensemble, made up of Ireland’s finest emerging professional musicians, close the night with premiere performances of eight new works by ICC members.
